In order to support our clients with their housing and other related issues Home Access needs to collect and store some of their personal information. Therefore, we need permission to do this. The information held may include names, addresses, contact details and anything else that may be relevant to housing and support needs.
We aim to safeguard all information in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations 2018. All personal information provided will be seen only by Home Access staff. A copy of the Home Access Data Protection Policy can be obtained at our offices.
Home Access will keep all personal information for as long as we have an active relationship with the client, and for up to 5 years afterwards. If we need to obtain other information or use the information we already have for purposes other than supporting and progressing a case, we will always ask permission to do this.
To provide further support to clients it may be necessary for us to share personal information with other persons or organisations. This may include, another member of family, local authority housing services, benefits agencies, social services, health service professionals, and other support organisations. We may also need to share personal information with other persons or bodies if we are required to do so by law, and if that happens the client will be told within one calendar month.
All clients have the right to withdraw their consent at any time by notification to Home Access. Such notification should be sent to Home Access, St Paul's Community Centre, Penarth. CF64 1EU. However, please be aware that withdrawing consent to us holding your personal information will mean that we shall be unable to support you or progress your case as a Home Access service user.
